Oxytropis lambertii var. articulata

Lambert's locoweed (articulate variety) is a low-growing prairie perennial native to Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, bearing attractive purple to pink pea-like flowers in spring. It thrives in lean, well-drained soils with full sun and requires very little care once established in a suitable dry garden or rock garden setting. Note that all parts of this plant are toxic to livestock if ingested in quantity.
