Oxytropis lambertii var. bigelovii

Bigelow's locoweed is a native prairie perennial best grown outdoors in well-drained, rocky or sandy soils with moderate watering. It produces showy purple to pink pea-like flowers in spring and early summer and does well in full sun to partial shade. Note that all parts of this plant are toxic to livestock, so it is not suitable for pasture areas or homes with grazing animals.
