Path rush is a hardy, clump-forming perennial grass-like plant that tolerates compacted, moist soils and light foot traffic margins. It grows well in partially shaded spots and requires very little attention once established. It is best suited to naturalized garden settings, rain gardens, or pond edges rather than ornamental containers.
