Palmer's penstemon is a drought-adapted Western native perennial bearing fragrant pale pink to lavender tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds and bees. Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded spot and water sparingly once established. It is an excellent choice for xeriscape and native plant gardens in the Intermountain West.
