Rydberg's penstemon (aggregated variety) is a clump-forming native perennial of the Rocky Mountain and Great Basin regions, producing dense clusters of small violet-blue tubular flowers in early summer. It performs best in well-drained soils with moderate moisture and thrives in meadow, rock, or native plant garden settings. Once established, it is highly attractive to native bees and hummingbirds with very little required care.
