Pentanema salicinum

Pentanema salicinum, formerly classified within Inula, is a slender Eurasian perennial bearing small yellow daisy-like flowers that attract bees and butterflies throughout summer. It grows well in moist to moderately dry soils in partly shaded or open sites, making it a good candidate for naturalistic wildflower plantings or meadow borders. This unfussy plant asks for little care beyond occasional watering and cutting back after flowering.
