Philadelphus microphyllus var. argyrocalyx

Silver-calyx mock orange is a compact, fragrant deciduous shrub native to New Mexico that produces abundant white blooms with a sweet citrus-like scent in late spring. Plant in well-drained soil with partial to full sun and water regularly during its first season to establish a deep root system. Once established it becomes moderately drought tolerant and benefits from light pruning after flowering to maintain a tidy shape.
