Phlox alyssifolia subsp. alyssifolia

Alyssum-leaved phlox is a compact, mat-forming perennial native to the northern Great Plains and Canadian prairies, well suited to rock gardens and border edges. It thrives in well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and requires very little care once established. Clusters of small, delicate flowers in white to pale lavender appear in spring and early summer, attracting bees and butterflies.
