Pilosella cymosa

Pilosella cymosa is a clump-forming European hawkweed relative that produces cheerful yellow dandelion-like flower heads on upright stems over a rosette of hairy leaves. It thrives in poor, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade and requires very little water or fertiliser once established. This plant is best suited to wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, or naturalised borders where it can spread gently without competition.
