Polemonium foliosissimum var. foliosissimum
Polemonium foliosissimum var. foliosissimum var. foliosissimum
Leafy polemonium is a robust, clump-forming native perennial from the mountain West, best grown in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in partial shade to dappled sunlight. Water regularly during the growing season, especially in warmer climates, and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor. Its tall, ferny foliage and clusters of violet-blue flowers in early summer add elegant texture to shade and cottage gardens.
