Polemonium occidentale subsp. lacustre

Lake Jacob's Ladder is a rare native perennial suited to moist, partly shaded garden spots in the upper Midwest. Keep the soil consistently moist and avoid hot, dry conditions, as this plant does not tolerate drought. It rewards careful placement with delicate blue-violet flower clusters in late spring and early summer.
