Polemonium occidentale subsp. occidentale

Western Jacob's Ladder is a tough native perennial native to mountain meadows and moist slopes of western North America. Plant it in a partly shaded spot with rich, reliably moist soil for best results, and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor. Its airy, pinnate foliage and clusters of lavender-blue flowers make it a lovely addition to a native or woodland garden.
