Brunnescent slender cinquefoil is a hardy native wildflower that produces bright yellow five-petaled blooms through summer in mountain meadows and open slopes of the western United States. It is well-suited to rock gardens, native plantings, and naturalistic landscapes in USDA zones 4–8, preferring moderately fertile, well-drained soil in sun to part shade. Once established it requires little supplemental watering or fertilizing, making it an excellent low-maintenance choice for wild-style garde
