Prunella vulgaris subsp. hispida

Hispid self-heal is a subtropical to temperate variety of Prunella vulgaris native to South and East Asia, performing well in partially shaded spots with reliably moist soil. Like other self-heal varieties, it spreads as a low ground cover and produces attractive purple flower spikes that support pollinators.
