Roadside agrimony
Agrimonia striata
Roadside agrimony is an undemanding native wildflower that produces slender spikes of small yellow blooms from midsummer into autumn, making it a charming addition to meadow or naturalized gardens. It adapts well to average soils in part shade and requires little supplemental watering once established. Historically used in herbal medicine, it also supports native bees and butterflies with its nectar-rich flowers.
