Rock soapwort
Saponaria ocymoides
Rock soapwort is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial that thrives in well-drained, rocky or sandy soil in partial shade to full sun. It is relatively drought-tolerant once established and requires very little maintenance beyond occasional trimming after flowering to keep it tidy. It is an excellent choice for rock gardens, walls, or ground cover in a sunny border.
