Rosa bridgesii

Rosa bridgesii is a delicate native wild rose found in the forests and stream banks of California and Oregon, best grown in partly shaded garden spots with consistently moist, well-drained soil. It produces small pink flowers in late spring and benefits from a light mulch to keep roots cool and moist. Prune out dead canes in late winter and watch for aphids or black spot during humid periods.
