Round-leaf wintergreen

Round-leaf wintergreen is a delicate, shade-loving woodland perennial that thrives in cool, humus-rich, acidic soil similar to a pine or birch forest floor. It is notoriously difficult to establish in cultivation and is best planted in a woodland garden with mycorrhizal fungi-rich substrate that mimics its natural habitat. Once settled, it produces beautiful nodding white flowers on slender stems and requires minimal intervention.
