Rudbeckia hirta var. hirta

Black-eyed Susan is a cheerful, easy-care native wildflower that performs well in garden beds, meadows, and borders with partial to full sun. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots, then reduce frequency as plants become drought-resilient. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering, or leave seed heads standing in fall to feed birds through winter.
