Sage-leaf rock-rose
Cistus salviifolius
Sage-leaf rock-rose is a sun-loving Mediterranean shrub that thrives in poor, well-drained soils and is highly drought-tolerant once established. It produces charming white flowers with yellow centres in late spring and early summer, requiring very little watering or feeding. Plant it in a sunny, sheltered spot and avoid overwatering, as it is highly susceptible to root rot in waterlogged conditions.
