Columbia groundsel is a native perennial wildflower with a broad range across the Great Plains and interior western North America, making it one of the more widespread groundsel varieties. It thrives in partial sun with average, well-drained soil and regular moisture through the spring blooming season. Plant it in native prairie restorations or pollinator gardens where its cheerful yellow flowers will attract bees and butterflies.
