Small henbit (ivy-leaved speedwell) is a low-growing annual or short-lived perennial that self-seeds readily in gardens, lawns, and disturbed ground. It tolerates a range of conditions from full sun to partial shade and requires very little attention to establish. It is generally considered a common weed in cultivated areas but can provide early-season forage for bees.
