Soaptree yucca is a dramatic, architectural desert plant that thrives in full sun and extremely well-drained, sandy or rocky soil — it is highly drought tolerant once established and requires very little supplemental water. It produces tall, showy spikes of creamy white flowers in spring and summer that attract pollinators. Avoid overwatering or poorly drained soil at all costs, as this is the most common cause of decline.
