South african ragwort

South African ragwort is a vigorous, drought-tolerant perennial subshrub that produces cheerful yellow daisy-like flowers over a long season. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is well suited to dry, well-drained soils, making it useful for roadsides and disturbed ground. Note that it is invasive in parts of Europe and is toxic to livestock, so it should be managed carefully outside its native South African range.
