Southern Crab Apple is a charming native small tree that produces fragrant pink-white blossoms in spring and small tart fruits enjoyed by wildlife. Plant in a sunny to partly shaded spot with well-drained soil, and water regularly during the first few years to establish a strong root system. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and remove any crossing branches.
