Syringodium isoetifolium, commonly known as noodle seagrass, is a tropical marine seagrass native to Indo-Pacific coastal shallows and is not cultivable in a standard home or garden setting. It grows fully submerged in warm, clear, nutrient-poor saltwater and plays a critical ecological role as fish and dugong habitat. It is of interest primarily to marine ecologists and reef restoration specialists.
