Sphaeralcea munroana

Munro's globemallow is a drought-adapted western native that produces cheerful orange to coral blooms on silvery-grey foliage from spring through summer. Plant it in well-draining, lean soil and avoid overwatering, as it is highly susceptible to root rot in heavy or consistently wet ground. Once established, it requires very little supplemental water and thrives with minimal care in sunny to partly shaded spots.
