Sphagnum fimbriatum

Sphagnum fimbriatum, or fringed bogmoss, is a peat-forming moss that requires consistently saturated, acidic, nutrient-poor conditions to thrive — making it ideal for bog gardens, carnivorous plant substrates, or naturalistic pond edges. It should never be allowed to dry out and does best in cool, humid environments with indirect or filtered light. This moss is widely used by hobbyists as a growing medium for orchids, carnivorous plants, and terrariums requiring high humidity.
