Sphagnum russowii

Russow's peat moss is a specialist bog plant requiring constantly wet, highly acidic conditions and very low nutrient levels — tap water will harm it, so use only rainwater or distilled water. It grows best in cool, humid environments with bright indirect light, making it ideal for terrarium bogs or outdoor bog gardens. Avoid fertilizing entirely, as excess nutrients are fatal to this nitrogen-sensitive moss.
