Warnstorf's peat moss is a specialised sphagnum moss used in terrariums, bog gardens, and as a growing medium for carnivorous plants and orchids. It requires consistently wet, acidic, low-nutrient conditions and does best in bright indirect light or dappled shade. Use rainwater or distilled water rather than tap water, as the minerals in tap water can damage this sensitive moss.
