Spiraea alba var. latifolia, commonly known as broadleaf meadowsweet, is a hardy native shrub that produces fluffy white flower plumes in summer and adapts well to moist, average soils in part to full sun. It is an excellent choice for rain gardens, native plantings, and pollinator borders in eastern North America. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy shape and encourage vigorous regrowth.
