Steeplebush is a hardy, moisture-loving native shrub that produces showy, rosy-pink flower plumes in summer and makes an excellent choice for rain gardens, streambanks, or moist borders. Plant it in full sun to part shade with consistently moist to wet soil for best flowering. Prune lightly after bloom or in early spring to encourage vigorous new growth and maintain a tidy shape.
