Thrift goldenweed is a tough, low-growing native perennial from the western Great Plains, producing cheerful yellow daisy-like flowers in spring and early summer. It performs best in well-drained, rocky or sandy soils and is well suited to xeriscape and native prairie gardens. Once established it requires very little care, making it ideal for low-water landscapes.
