Sulfur-buckwheat

Sulfur-buckwheat is a tough, low-growing western native perennial that produces bright yellow flower clusters attractive to pollinators. Plant it in full sun with excellent drainage — sandy or gravelly soil is ideal — and avoid overwatering or rich, amended soils that can cause root rot. Once established it is highly drought tolerant and requires virtually no maintenance.
