Symphyotrichum subulatum

Symphyotrichum subulatum, commonly called annual saltmarsh aster, is a tough wildflower that adapts well to disturbed, moist, or saline soils. Plant in a sunny to partly shaded spot and water regularly until established, after which it is largely self-sufficient. It produces masses of small daisy-like flowers that are excellent for pollinators in late summer and autumn.
