Tall bog sedge
Carex magellanica
Tall bog sedge is a graceful, moisture-loving perennial suited to rain gardens, pond margins, and boggy woodland areas. It thrives in consistently wet, acidic soils with partial shade and requires very little care once established in the right conditions. Avoid allowing the soil to dry out, as this plant is naturally adapted to waterlogged habitats.
