Tufted bulrush is a hardy, clump-forming sedge native to bogs, moors, and wet heath environments across the northern hemisphere. It thrives in full sun to partial shade with consistently wet or boggy soil, making it an excellent choice for pond margins or rain gardens. Once established, it requires very little care beyond keeping the roots moist.
