Tulip-poplar is a fast-growing, majestic shade tree that prefers full sun to partial shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply and regularly during the first few years to establish a strong root system, then reduce frequency as the tree matures. Its striking tulip-shaped flowers and attractive foliage make it a spectacular specimen tree for large landscapes.
