Veronica teucrium, commonly known as large speedwell or Hungarian speedwell, is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial that produces vivid blue flower spikes in late spring and early summer. It thrives in well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade and is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, borders, or naturalized meadow plantings. Once established it is quite drought-tolerant and benefits from light cutting back after flowering to encourage bushy regrowth.
