Virginia copperleaf is an undemanding native annual-like perennial wildflower that adapts well to average garden soils in part shade to full sun. Its distinctive bronze-green foliage provides textural interest and it supports a variety of native pollinators throughout the growing season. It self-seeds readily, naturalizing in disturbed areas and garden edges with little maintenance required.
