White-leaved ragwort
Jacobaea leucophylla
White-leaved ragwort is a rare Pyrenean perennial admired for its striking silver-white felted foliage and clusters of yellow daisy-like flowers. It prefers well-drained, rocky or poor soil in a sunny to partly shaded alpine or rock garden setting, and resents waterlogged conditions especially in winter. This is a specialist collector's plant best grown in regions with cool summers and excellent drainage.
