White rock-rose is a sun-loving, drought-tolerant subshrub that produces charming white flowers with yellow centres in late spring and summer. Plant it in well-drained, even poor or chalky soil in a sunny border or rock garden and water sparingly once established. It requires little maintenance but benefits from a light trim after flowering to keep a tidy, compact shape.
