White snakeroot is a tough, adaptable native perennial that excels in shaded woodland gardens, thriving in average to moist, well-drained soils with partial shade. It produces fluffy white flowers in late summer and autumn that are excellent for pollinators, requiring very little attention once established. Note that all parts of this plant are toxic if ingested, so keep it away from children and animals.
