Nymphaea alba
White water-lily is a stunning aquatic perennial that floats its iconic white blooms on the surface of still or slow-moving water from summer into autumn. Plant the rhizome in an aquatic basket filled with heavy loam and submerge in 1–4 feet of water in a sunny pond position. It spreads moderately and benefits from dividing every few years to keep growth in check.
