Whorled Solomon's-seal is an elegant woodland perennial that performs best in dappled shade with rich, humus-rich, consistently moist soil. Plant rhizomes at a shallow depth in spring and top-dress annually with leaf mould or compost to mimic its natural forest floor habitat. It dies back fully in winter and re-emerges reliably each spring with minimal intervention.
