Wild calla is an aquatic or bog perennial that thrives in permanently wet conditions such as pond margins, rain gardens, or shallow water features in partial shade. It produces attractive white spathes in spring followed by red berries that provide food for wildlife. Note that all parts of this plant are toxic if ingested, so keep it away from children and pets.
