Wild hyacinth
Triteleia grandiflora
Wild hyacinth is a charming spring-blooming corm native to the Pacific Northwest and intermountain West, producing clusters of violet-blue flowers on slender stems. Plant corms in well-drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded spot and water regularly through spring; once the foliage yellows, stop watering and let the corm rest dry through summer. It naturalizes beautifully in meadow and native plant gardens and requires very little attention once established.
