Winged greenweed
Genista sagittalis
Winged greenweed is a low-spreading, semi-evergreen perennial shrub that forms attractive mats of bright yellow pea-like flowers in late spring and early summer. Plant it in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil; it does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. Once established it requires very little care and is an excellent choice for rock gardens, slopes, or ground cover plantings.
