Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) is a vigorous, fast-growing native vine that is adaptable to a wide range of soils and light conditions, from full sun to deep shade. It provides spectacular scarlet fall foliage and produces small berries that attract birds, making it excellent for wildlife gardens and covering fences or walls. Regular pruning is recommended to keep growth in bounds, as it can spread aggressively.
