Yellow-leaf iris is a delicate Pacific Northwest native iris found in shaded forest openings and grassy slopes in California and Oregon, producing pale cream to white flowers with yellow markings. Plant in well-drained, moderately moist soil in part shade and avoid overwatering, as it is sensitive to soggy conditions especially in summer dormancy.
